Documented symbolism

In the Testamentum Adrianeum by Adrian von Mynsicht, reported in the sources of the Golden Cross, the matter of the work is designated with an occult anagram: «MILVI ORTUM = VITRIOLUM». The acronym VITRIOL (Visita Interiora Terrae Rectificando Invenies Occultum Lapidem) thus appears encrypted, a sign of the hermetic custom of veiling key terms.
