Caducità / Caducy Exercise (con polarità) is a technique of the Paret Method in the category presenza. A structured exercise for developing presence through conscious control of body fall and energetic polarity, integrating non-verbal hypnotic phenomena such as catalepsy, oculomotor block, and voluntary muscle immobilization.

Definition

Caducità is a phenomenon of controlled collapse of the ordinary state of consciousness, induced through the systematic exercise of body polarity and presence. In the Paret method, it is not a simple fall, but rather a conscious modulation of the operator's verticality and energetic balance, which simultaneously generates a non-verbal hypnotic response in the other. The technique simultaneously integrates insomnia (conscious wakefulness state), catalepsy, oculomotor block, and hand immobilization, creating multisensory coherence in the induced phenomena.

When to use

  • Development of magnetic presenza and conscious fascination
  • Training in non-verbal hypnosis and hieratic techniques
  • Induction of controlled cataleptic phenomena
  • Exercise on body energetic polarity in a didactic context
  • Consolidation of synchronization between operator and subject
  • [to be confirmed by Marco: contraindications or usage limitations]

Components and steps

  1. Stabilization of vertical polarity (cranio-caudal axis)
  2. Conscious inhibition of the ordinary resting state (induced insomnia)
  3. Induction of selective muscle catalepsy via oculomotor block
  4. Fixation of gaze with related neuromuscular block
  5. Hand immobilization through magnetic polarity
  6. Integration of controlled fall (caducità) with maintenance of awareness

Distinctions

  • vs Catalessi semplice: Caducità integrates polarity as a generative element; it is not mere muscle immobilization, but a structured collapse phenomenon of ordinary posture
  • vs Blocco oculomotore: The oculomotor block is a component of Caducità, not the complete technique; Caducità adds the vertical body dimension and conscious insomnia
  • vs Fascinazione diretta: Caducità emphasizes the operator's self-conditioning on their own polarity, generating an indirect response in the other

Courses where it is taught

  • PROGRAM OF THE ONLINE COURSE DIAMOND (week 5 – Presence module)
  • Mesmerismus® (week 5)

Notes

  • The technique requires preliminary mastery of presenza and awareness of the altered wakefulness state
  • The exercise combines at least four phenomena simultaneously; do not attempt isolated components without supervision
  • [to be confirmed by Marco: short-term side effects, post-recovery]
