Taurus do Brasil — L'Ipnotista delle Masse/en

Taurus do Brasil (stage name of Milton Motta Peligrinetti, São Paulo May 11, 1925 – Tijuana February 25, 2009) was one of the greatest theatrical hypnotists in history. Dubbed by the world press The Most Famous Hypnotist in the World, he hypnotized over 800,000 people in a 60-year career.
In the Method Paret, the Taurus Method is taught. The transmission line traces back to Dr. Enrico Ceccarelli, an Italian hypnotist from Siena, uncle and teacher of Taurus.
The Connection with Ceccarelli
- "The first direct contact he had with hypnosis was at a very young age. He had an uncle that was a famous and recognized hypnotist of the masses, the Italian Dr. Checarelli, who opened the doors of this wonderful world of dreams. Taurus would accompany him as assistant in his shows, and that was how he discovered all the marvels of the mind and dreams."

The "uncle" Dr. Checarelli (Ceccarelli) was Dr. Enrico Ceccarelli from Siena.

The Taurus Method in Method Paret
The Taurus Method is taught at the ISI-CNV school as a specific rapid induction technique. The line:
Dr. Enrico Ceccarelli (Siena, Italian tradition) → Taurus do Brasil (nephew-student, developed in the Americas for 60 years) → Method Paret / ISI-CNV
In parallel, Di Pisa had received the same tradition through Ceccarelli's audio cassette at the Regio di Parma (1978), provided to him by the student Athos Ubaldi.
The European Tradition
Despite his South American career, Taurus do Brasil belongs to the European tradition of hypnosis: his origin is Italian (uncle Ceccarelli), not American. This places him in the same line as Method Paret, which distinguishes itself from the American verbal method (Elman, Milton Model) by favoring magnetism, direct gaze, and non-verbal hypnosis of European origin.
Death
He died on February 25, 2009 in Tijuana, Mexico, from a heart attack, at the age of 83.
