Quantum Psychology e Fascinazione — Il Ponte Paret-Wolinsky/en

Documentary update (22/05/2026): the theoretical bridge between Paret and Wolinsky is not an ex-post reconstruction by third parties, but an explicit declaration by Marco Paret in his own book The Magnetic Gaze from 2011, where (pp. 82-84, note 45) Paret introduces 8 categories of fascinatory trances directly citing Wolinsky's Trances People Live as the source of the classification. This page expands that bridge by adding the Evola side (wet path) which Paret does not make explicit but which is consistent with his magnetic practice.
This page documents the thematic and operational correspondence between the quantum language of the Paret Method — presented in internal materials and in the work L'Energia Segreta della Mente — the Quantum Psychology of Stephen Wolinsky and the doctrine of Awakening + Yoga della Potenza by Julius Evola (cluster Lo Yoga della Potenza di Evola, Cavalcare la Tigre di Evola, Evola e Reghini e la Tradizione Ermetica).
The overlap among the three corpora is precise: independently, starting from different traditions (US clinical + Advaita; European magnetic tradition; Italian initiatic tradition), all three describe the same mechanism of the fascinatory/initiatic relationship in terms of observer-observed entanglement, collapse of the identity wave function, and return to embodied presence.
The page aims to clarify the references left as [to be confirmed by Marco] in existing wiki pages (see Iperfascinazione point 4, Fascinazione Seminar Level One section "energy / quantum presence", Mirror Fascinazione (Ajna/Third Eye)).
Framework
When Marco Paret uses terms like quantum entanglement, collapse of the probability function, vertical alignment, integral presence in his teaching materials, he is not using metaphorical language added to classical fascination. He is naming, with the vocabulary of quantum physics and Wolinsky's Quantum Psychology, the same phenomena that the classical magnetic tradition called rapport, communion magnétique, gaze and will — and that the Italian initiatic tradition (Reghini, Kremmerz, Evola) called awakening, activation of centers, multiplied fluid.
Paret's internal working notes (archive magnetic points and tension) contain these statements:
In Quantistic terms the more we rationalize what we do, the more we collapse the function of probability. Reality is manyfold and a theory will give us a look on just a side of reality.
Create rapport. In quantistic terms we entangle with the subject. Quantum entanglement is a process through which two particles stay as connected. To create such a connection you can use the gaze, the touch and even the thought.
Be present. As your energy patterns tend to entangle with the subject, many times we can heal somebody even without doing nothing specific, but instead becoming conscious of the blocked energy pattern and aligning to health and wellbeing.
This is — literally, line by line — the vocabulary of Wolinsky's Quantum Psychology applied to magnetic practice, and at the same time a modern translation of the Evolian-Kremmerzian work on the fluid.
Three-way correspondence table
| Paret Method Concept | Wolinsky Concept (dry path) | Evola/Kremmerz Concept (wet path) | Fascinatory Practice |
|---|---|---|---|
| Entanglement with the subject | observer-observed unity (deconstructed) | magnetic chain of lodge / fluidic communion | The fascinator does not act on the subject: it is already in rapport with him. The rapport must be seen (dry path) and fluidically nourished (wet path) |
| Collapse of the probability function | observer creates the state (Dark Side pp. 340-345) | the magician who fixes a subtle plane with the will, making it manifest | The state that manifests in the subject is the one the operator sees as real and nourishes with his own presence |
| Vertical alignment | witnessing self / I AM / Essence | the tantric sushumna, the axis of the column awakened from muladhara to sahasrara | Operational state of fascination: anchoring to a level that precedes the identity of the character, verifiable in the body (posture, breath, weight) |
| Integral Presence (Quantum Presence) | transcendence of the associational trance | three cinnabar fields activated — embodied presence in the three planes of the body | Total bodily perception, in which the observer is not absorbed by their own DTPs and can see those of the subject, nourishing their own field |
| Attentional capture with the gaze | spotlight of attention that fixes the phenomenon | the gaze of the magician that activates the energy centers fluidically | The fascinator's gaze fixes a point in the subject's perceptual space, where their associative chains have no hold and where the fluid can enter |
| Ébranlement / blow (Donato → Paret) | interruption of the associational trance | the kundalini strike, the Buddha who refuses metaphysical dispute | Sudden nervous start = rupture of the associational trance + opening of the fluidic channel |
| Operative tension (Paret notes) | Deep Trance Phenomenon as ability | tantric tapas, the heat of asceticism that melts impurities | Fascination does not operate through relaxation but through redirection of the tension the subject already has |
The four operational principles of the Paret Method read on three planes
Summarizing from Paret's notes (magnetic points and tension) with Wolinsky's introductory chapters and Evola's key passages (Yoga della Potenza, ch. VI-VIII):
- Do not limit possibilities. Paret: don't let your rational mind interfere, this collapses the function of probability. Wolinsky: rational categorization is the engine of the associational trance. Evola: the destruction of the demon of dialectics (ch. 4 Dottrina del Risveglio), the Buddha's refusal of metaphysical disputes. Rational categorization kills the process
- Be aligned. Paret: be aligned with chi and superior energies, be in the vertical. Wolinsky: Essential Quality of Spaciousness, the return to Essence. Evola: the sushumna axis activated, the column as a channel awakened from muladhara to sahasrara. Alignment is not a concept — it is a verifiable bodily state
- Create rapport / entanglement / chain. Paret: gaze, touch, thought as three equivalent ways. Wolinsky: looking into the eyes of a person is an excellent way to entangle with him. Evola: the chain (parampara, kula) as a collective fluidic body that transmits awakening. The gaze is not an induction, it is an act of ascertainment and fluidic transmission
- Be present. Paret: becoming conscious of the blocked energy pattern and aligning to health. Wolinsky: the witnessing self. Evola: the Diamond-Thunderbolt body (ch. VIII Yoga della Potenza), the presence that has completed the work on the seven chakras. Presence means: seeing without merging, and simultaneously inhabiting one's own fluidic body
Three traditions, one path, three lexicons
The thesis of the Paret Method, formulated by Marco Paret and documented in this page, is that the three corpora describe the same path, with different emphases:
- Wolinsky presents the cognitive-observational side of the work (what a trance is, how it is seen, how it is dissolved). It is the dry path in Evola's language. It has the merit of an accessible modern clinical exposition and a precise catalog of DTPs. It has the limitation — recognized by Wolinsky himself in his later books (Reflections of the Absolute, Zen of Advaita) — of leaving the body as a background after deconstructing identities
- Evola (with Reghini, Kremmerz, and the Italian initiatic line) presents the bodily-energetic side of the work. Yoga della Potenza is the wet path applied: kundalini, seven chakras, bija mantra, mudra, fluid, chain, Diamond body. It is the operational structure that Wolinsky therapeutically hints at but does not systematize
- Paret operates at the junction point of the two paths, because he inherits the European magnetic tradition (Donato, Du Potet, Di Pisa) which has always been fluidic-bodily, and integrates it with Wolinsky's quantum vocabulary which provides him with the modern theoretical framework. The Paret Method is the contemporary operational synthesis of dry path + wet path in a fascinatory key
Essential differences not to be confused
The parallel is not coincidence, but the three traditions are not identical. Relevant differences that must be kept clear:
- Historical origin and framework: Wolinsky starts from the US clinical + Advaita Vedanta (1970s-1990s). Evola starts from the Italian initiatic tradition and Traditionalist thought (1920s-1970s). Paret starts from the European magnetic tradition + autonomous personal development of the quantum framework (1980s-present)
- Immediate purpose: Wolinsky works on the subject so that they de-hypnotize themselves (therapeutic purpose). Evola works on the subject so that they realize themselves initiatically (metaphysical purpose). Paret works on the fascinator so that they become capable of operating on the subject (operational-didactic purpose)
- Main tool: Wolinsky uses word, imagination, guided verbal contact. Evola uses mantra, mudra, yantra, bodily practice, ritual chain. Paret privileges the pure non-verbal (gaze, passes, bodily tension, silent intention), absorbing elements of both
- Time: Wolinsky works in medium-long sessions of progressive deconstruction. Evola describes a multi-year initiatic path. Classical fascination and Paret operate in the instant (see Donato method)
These differences are complementary, not antagonistic. Quantum Psychology provides the theoretical vocabulary to describe what happens. Yoga della Potenza provides the operational system on the body. Classical fascination and the Paret Method provide the rapid operational protocol that applies both in the instant of the relationship.
Implications for the practice of the Paret Method
- The quantum techniques of the Paret Method cited in Iperfascinazione point 4 and in Fascinazione Seminar Level One have an explicit theoretical source in Wolinsky's Quantum Psychology and an operational-bodily source in Evolian Yoga della Potenza
- Mirror Fascinazione is — on the cognitive plane — a Wolinsky-type disidentification exercise, and — on the energetic plane — an activation of the ajna chakra in the Evolian tantric tradition
- The distinction "fascination with support" vs "pure fascination" corresponds to Wolinsky's distinction mediated DTP vs direct dissolution, and to Evola's distinction pashu/vira/divya in Yoga della Potenza
- The Paret principle "fascination is an unconscious state abruptly provoked by the operator on the subject" must be read on three planes: Wolinsky (the state is revealed, not created — it was already there under other DTPs), Evola (the state is kundalini awakened in the subject through the operator's fluid), magnetic tradition (the state is the rapport magnétique realized)
Wolinsky as theoretical source of state transfer (key clarification)
Key clarification provided by Marco Paret (22/05/2026) on the placement of Wolinsky in the ISI-CNV wiki cluster.
The previous formulation of this page treated Wolinsky as a «cognitive dry path that stops» — useful for diagnostics, insufficient as a final reference. This reading was partial and must be corrected. The correct formulation is as follows:
Wolinsky's theoretical system — based on "trance by observation" and "observer-created reality" — is the most precise theoretical source, in modern clinical language, of the mechanism by which fascination can be a vehicle for transferring a state of consciousness. Wolinsky clinically describes how an identity (identity trance) is established by observation (the therapist observer who recognizes the patient's trance brings it into being as an object and thus makes it modifiable), how a trance state transfers from one subject to another in interpersonal dynamics, and how what is observed changes by the fact of being observed (quantum parallel between clinic and physics).
The Paret Method uses this same mechanism in reverse: not to dissolve a lowering trance (Wolinskyan clinical), but to transmit a state of vigilant presence through fascination operated by an aligned fascinator.
In other words:
- Wolinsky the therapist uses trance by observation to dehypnotize (dissolve rigid identities)
- The aligned Paret fascinator uses the same mechanism to transmit a state of presence to the subject — initiatic induction through the gaze
The fascination of the Paret Method is therefore not:
- Nor induction of a lowering trance (correctly criticized by Atkinson ch. XII as a practice of superficial yogi-fakir-dervish-New Thought schools)
- Nor suggestive manipulation (coercive category)
But:
- Transmission by observation of a state of consciousness — the fascinator who has worked on their own presence in the hic et nunc (the principle of L'Energia Segreta della Mente p. 220: «presence in the instant first and last key») naturally induces in the observed subject an alignment to the same state, through the coherence field that their gaze produces
This mechanism is documented in the wiki cluster both technically (Mirror Fascinazione (Ajna/Third Eye), Le Catene Magnetiche di Loggia, trans-species fascination) and theoretically (here, via Wolinsky).
Consequence for the placement of Wolinsky in the cluster
Wolinsky is therefore not a limited stage to be overcome. He is the modern theoretical source of the mechanism of non-verbal initiatic transmission — a mechanism that the Paret Method recognizes, articulates, and uses. The difference between Wolinsky and the Paret Method is not one of «level of fulfillment» (Wolinsky low, Paret high) but of operational application:
- Wolinsky documents (and applies clinically to dissolve)
- The Paret Method documents + applies initiatically (to transmit a state of presence-awakening)
The Paret Method completes Wolinsky by orienting him toward Awakening (see next section on Giudicelli) — it does not replace him nor surpass him abstractly.
The criterion of Awakening: all paths make sense only if they arrive there
Section added in coherence with the criterion of the Paret-ISI-CNV School (Marco Paret, 22/05/2026).
The decisive criterion that clarifies the position of all traditions discussed in this bridge-page is the state of Awakening documented in Giudicelli (Doctrine du Corps Immortel) and in Il Risveglio (the axis-page of the hermetic-masonic-magnetic cluster). The paths make sense to the extent that they arrive there or point there.
Measured against this criterion:
- Wolinsky — useful for the diagnostics of ordinary trance, stops at the cognitive dry path, does not explicitly aim at Awakening in the Giudicelli sense
- Atkinson — useful for mental concentration exercises and the gaze, stops at mental influence, does not aim at Awakening (ch. XII of his book denounces schools that pass off trance as Awakening, but does not describe real Awakening)
- New Thought / The Kybalion — American cultural framework of the 19th-20th centuries, explicit mentalistic limit, does not lead to Awakening (see dedicated pages for critique)
- Evola (dry path) — explicitly aims at Awakening. Only, he considers the wet path as «more suitable for other temperaments»
- Evola (wet path) / Kremmerz / Pasqually / Cagliostro / Borri — aim at the Immortal Body (= embodied Awakening) through magnetic-fluidic-bodily work. This is the line that the Paret Method fully incorporates
- Giudicelli — maximum reference point: articulates wet path + Awakening in a single operational discourse. The Paret Method rigorously follows its propaedeutic structure (5 stages) and its orientation toward the Immortal Body
- Classical Magnetism (Mesmer, Du Potet, Donato, Di Pisa) — authentic wet path that can remain «infinite» (lacking explication of fulfillment) if not oriented toward Awakening. The Italian magnetic tradition (Di Pisa → Paret) is the closest to Awakening among modern magnetic lines
Operational conclusion: the Paret Method does not consider all paths equivalent. It has a clear criterion: Awakening. Everything else is working material — useful for starting, useful for specific stages, useful as vocabulary, but does not replace the true path. The true path is the one documented by the line Mesmer → Du Potet → Donato → Di Pisa → Paret integrated into the hermetic-initiatic cluster (Reghini, Evola, Kremmerz, Pasqually, Giudicelli) and fulfilled in the state of the Immortal Body described by Giudicelli.
The explicit recognition by Giudicelli himself (2009 afterword) that the Paret Method «evokes the path of Awakening through a rigorous praxis» is the seal of this placement.
