Mirror Practice - Gaze Training is a fundamental technique of the Method Paret in the fascinazione category, aimed at developing present awareness and the power of the gaze through daily self-observation.
Definition
Mirror Practice is a daily 10-15 minute exercise performed in front of a mirror, in which the practitioner maintains a fixed gaze without blinking, observing themselves with genuine interest and awareness of the present moment. According to the Paret method, this practice develops an expressive and present gaze — a fundamental tool of fascination and hieratic non-verbal communication.
When to use
- Structured daily practice in the initial training of the Paret method
- Development of presence as a foundation for advanced Mesmerismus® and personal magnetism techniques
- Enhancement of non-verbal communication and the ability to maintain conscious attention
- Preliminary training for those developing hieratic techniques and quantum techniques
Components and steps
- Position yourself in front of a mirror in a quiet environment
- Maintain a fixed gaze into the eyes of your reflected image
- Do not blink during the entire exercise
- Develop awareness of the present moment — attention to the here and now
- Observe yourself with genuine interest, as if seeing yourself for the first time
- Maintain this practice for 10-15 minutes daily
Distinctions
- vs standard relaxation techniques: Mirror Practice does not aim at relaxation, but rather at conscious activation and control of the verticality of attention according to the Heaven and Earth principles of the Paret method
- vs passive meditation: It requires an active and interested self-observation, not a suspension of the gaze
Theoretical foundations
According to the Paret method, the practice develops:
- Awareness of verticality — the axis of personal growth and bodily control
- Nervous system balance through stabilization of the gaze and spine
- Hieratic gaze — expression of magnetic presence and non-verbal fascination
- Awareness of the "[da confermare Marco]" symbols and keys that structure unconscious communication
Courses where it is taught
- Mesmerismus® week 3 — Foundations of fascination
- Advanced lesson 4 — Development of gaze and presence
- [da confermare Marco - other courses in the curriculum]
Notes
- This is a foundational daily exercise — consistency is more important than duration
- Common mistake: trying to "do something" mentally; instead, the exercise requires pure and present observation
- [da confermare Marco - specific contraindications]
