Lafontaine Induction / Method is a technique of the Paret Method in the magnetism category, based on the principles of historical magnetism developed by the Swiss master Lafontaine. It is a non-verbal induction method that allows reaching states of deep catalepsy in less than five minutes, using exclusively gaze and magnetic passes.
Definition
The Lafontaine Induction represents a pure magnetic approach, without the aid of verbal language. According to the Paret method, it is a contemporary application of Lafontaine's historical principles, reinterpreted through the quantum perspective and the framework of hieratic fascination. The technique induces a specific state of catalepsy that allows access to deep levels of consciousness, preceding the ego, in connection with the implicit quantum dimension.
When to use
- Rapid induction in professional contexts: when a state of deep trance is needed in a short time
- Access to spontaneous healing states: to facilitate transformative processes without ego mediation
- Informal regressions: as a pre-induction or main facilitator
- Development of magnetic presence: for training practitioners in non-verbal control
Components and steps
- Gaze stabilization: the client fixes a reference point (typically the operator's eyes or a light source) maintaining bodily immobility
- Application of magnetic passes: concentrated energetic movements that channel personal magnetism towards the client
- Induction of cataleptic fixity: progressive loss of voluntary mobility, maintaining the state of conscious wakefulness
- Anchoring in the deep state: stabilization of the trance through passes and continuous magnetic presence
- [to be confirmed by Marco]: optimal duration and criteria for evaluating the achievement of the cataleptic state
Distinctions
- vs Arkeos: Arkeos is a basic non-verbal technique; Lafontaine is an advanced specialization that achieves catalepsy in very short times
- vs Presence Induction: Presence Induction works on the energetic quality of presence; Lafontaine specifically focuses on historical catalepsy through gaze and passes
- vs Ericksonian techniques: Lafontaine remains in the pure magnetic paradigm, without negotiation with the verbal unconscious typical of Ericksonian hypnosis
Courses where it is taught
- Advanced Canto Grande (Mesmerismus® module)
- Ibiuna Intensive Day 4 (session dedicated to historical masters)
Notes
- The speed of induction (< 5 minutes) does not imply superficiality of the state: access is to very deep levels of the implicate order
- Requires prior development of magnetic presence and power of gaze; not recommended as a first technique for beginners
- [to be confirmed by Marco]: specific contraindications and adaptations for clients with a phobia of direct gaze
