4 Stages of the Alchemical Work - Path of Power and Kabbalistic Path is a technique of the Method Paret in the category alchemy. It represents the foundation of the inner alchemical approach for the transformation of consciousness through two parallel paths: the Path of Power and the Kabbalistic Path, structured according to the four classical stages of the Great Work.

Definition

The technique integrates the Western alchemical tradition with the Paracelsian principle that "the constellations are in the head." In the Paret method, the alchemical work is not an external manipulation of matter, but a transformation of the operator's inner reality. By modifying the structure of consciousness from within, perception and external manifestation are automatically altered. The two paths represent complementary approaches to the same process of realization.

When to use

  • Development of Presence and multidimensional awareness
  • Transformation of personal psychic matter and the shadow
  • Enhancement of the capacity for fascination and magnetic influence
  • Work on deep-rooted traumas and crystallized unconscious patterns
  • Preparation for advanced techniques of non-verbal hypnosis and quantum techniques

Components and steps

  1. Nigredo (Putrefaction): dissolution of the ordinary ego and linear perception; death of the false identity
  2. Albedo (Purification/Illumination): clarification of consciousness; emergence of true awareness
  3. Citrinitas (Yellowness/Fermentation): [to be confirmed by Marco] creative fermentation of new potentialities
  4. Rubedo (Redness/Completion): total integration; realization of the glorified body and unified consciousness

Two parallel paths

  • Path of Power: Salt (body) + small opening upward; emphasis on the transmutation of living matter and physical energy
  • Kabbalistic Path: Sulfur (observer) + Mercury (observed) + Salt (body); integration of the experimental-observing-material trinity

Distinctions

  • vs historical alchemy: In the Paret method, the work is purely inner and direct; it requires no external physical apparatus
  • vs Structured Dissociation: While dissociation separates components, the alchemical work progressively integrates them into a higher unity
  • vs visualization techniques: Paret alchemy operates on the subtle levels of consciousness, not on mere mental images

Notes

  • The Paracelsian principle "the constellations are in the head" is central: inner transformation precedes and determines outer transformation
  • Common mistake: attempting to skip stages or artificially accelerate the process; each stage has its own timing and meaning
  • The technique requires abandonment of rational control: the ordinary ego must die in the Nigredo to allow the emergence of true consciousness
