4 Steps of Non-Verbal Communication is a fundamental structure of the Paret Method in the Non-Verbal Communication category. It represents the systemic model through which the practitioner guides the client towards states of progressive transformation, using exclusively non-verbal channels: bodily similarities, gaze oscillation, micro-facial expressions, and projection of magnetic presence.

Definition

In the Paret method, the 4 Steps constitute the evolutionary sequence of Non-Verbal Therapy. It is not a mechanical succession, but rather an organic process in which each phase prepares and amplifies the next. The technique integrates physicality, symbolism, and awareness of verticality to generate authentic emotional discharges and deep transformations in the client's state of consciousness.

When to use

Components and steps

  1. Rapport: creation of bodily similarities and disappearance of perceptual boundaries between operator and client. Foundation of magnetic trust.
  2. Attention: guided gaze oscillation towards the client's nose. Fixation of attentional focus and initial opening of the receptive state.
  3. Interest: maintenance of attentional pressure at the nasal level, consolidation of unconscious curiosity and emotional engagement.
  4. Desire: movement of the gaze towards the mouth, projection of magnetism through the zone of charm, activation of deep emotional discharge and identification.

Distinctions

  • vs Ericksonian Hypnosis: in the Paret method there is no progressive verbal induction, but rather direct non-verbal command through micro-expressions, verticality, and magnetic irradiation. Formal trance is not used.
  • vs Neuro-Linguistic Programming: NLP is based on verbal anchors and cognitive recalibration; the Paret method operates through pure bodily symbolism and energetic awareness, without linguistic mediation.
  • vs Historical Mesmerismus®: while traditional Mesmerismus® emphasizes magnetic fluid, the Paret method structures magnetism as a phenomenon of conscious verticality, bodily balance, and presence irradiation.

Notes

  • The technique requires absolute bodily congruence of the operator: any incongruence nullifies the magnetic effect.
  • The main limitation emerges when the client's emotional charge finds no containment — a [da confermare Marco] post-session discharge protocol is necessary.
  • The axis of verticality is not ornamental but structural: awareness of the spine and neurovegetative balance amplifies the effectiveness of each step.
