Observer-Observed Principle is a technique of the Method Paret in the quantum category that applies the quantum physics paradigm (double-slit experiment) to clinical psychology and behavioral transformation, producing real manifestations through the conscious control of the act of observation.
Definition
In the Paret method, the Observer-Observed Principle establishes that the quality of psychological observation directly modifies the perceived and behavioral reality of the subject. It is not mere suggestion: according to the quantum application of the method, the conscious expectation and the focal direction of the operator's attention create a collapse of the psychic wave function, crystallizing potential states into concrete manifestations. What is observed with intentionality and expectation tends to strengthen; conceptualizations generate measurable realities in the client's behavior and neurology.
When to use
- In work with limiting states and disempowering beliefs
- When a rapid collapse from virtuality to behavioral manifestation is needed
- In quantum hypnosis sessions to reorient the client's perceptual field
- In the treatment of phobias, blocks, and automatic patterns where the operator's focus acts as a privileged observer
- In contexts of performative coaching and presence development
Components and steps
- Preparation of the observational gaze: the Paret operator calibrates intentionality and attentional quality, generating a state of charged neutral expectation
- Focus on the desired potential: observation is directed toward the desired behavior/state, not toward the problem
- Manifestation through the field: the client receives the observation as a quantum non-verbal message that activates the state collapse
- Recursive reinforcement: each behavioral confirmation is observed with renewed intensity, further enhancing crystallization
- Disanchoring of the old pattern: observation systematically withdraws from the limiting state, allowing its quantum dissolution
Distinctions
- vs NLP Anchoring: anchoring works on stimulus-response associations; the Observer-Observed Principle operates at the level of quantum collapse of virtuality, without the need for explicit sensory anchors
- vs Focussing: Gendlin's Focussing explores internal listening; the Paret method centers on the active role of external observation as a reality generator

Notes
- Responsibility of intentionality: the Paret operator must maintain awareness of their own expectation; a misaligned observation reinforces undesired states
- It is not passive visualization: the method requires active quantum observation, not fantastic imagination
- Suitable for clients with conscious collapse ability [da confermare Marco]
