Marco Paret/en
Marco Paret is an Italian researcher and lecturer working in the fields of direct hypnosis, fascination, non-verbal communication, and alchemical and hermetic traditions. He is the founder of ISI-CNV (Institut Supérieur International de Communication Non-Verbale) and the Université Européenne, and the creator of the Paret Method — a system of techniques and states that integrates the historical tradition of magnetism and European fascination (Mesmer, Du Potet, Donato, Luys, Di Pisa), the operational corpus of alchemy and Hermeticism (Tria Prima, internal alchemical work, integral presence), and contemporary readings based on polyvagal theory, mirror neurons, and internal neurology.
Line of transmission and training
On the historical-traditional level, Marco Paret is placed in the documented chain of transmission leading from Donato (Alfred d'Hont, 1845-1900), through Caravelli and Erminio Di Pisa, to the contemporary synthesis. On the operational level, he also works with the European hermetic initiatory traditions documented in the dedicated entries (Kircher, Gualdi, Santanelli-Crassellame) and with Eastern body paths (yoga, tantra, Tummo), whose convergence with European internal alchemy he has studied.
The Paret Method
The system developed by Marco Paret and taught through ISI-CNV is not a school of a single tradition: it is the phenomenological convergence of three equal axes — direct fascination, alchemical presence, and internal neurology — held together by the base state of Integral Presence™. The synthesis is systematically documented in this wiki.
Works and publications
- The Magnetic Gaze (2011) — a key text on the magnetic gaze as an operator straddling fascination and alchemical presence.
- ISI-CNV publications and materials in Italian, French, English, Spanish, Portuguese.
- Recent developments of the typology system (Sei tipi caratteriali del Paret Method, Moving Enneagram of Paret, Otto fissazioni).
Activities
Marco Paret directs ISI-CNV and the Université Européenne LLP, coordinates the network of teachers trained in the Method, conducts documentary research on primary sources of 19th-century European magnetism (the journal «Le Magnétisme», archives of Luys, Morselli, de Rochas), and develops the dialogue between historical tradition and contemporary affective neuroscience.
