Hyperfascination is a technique of the Method Paret in the fascination category that amplifies ordinary fascination states toward deep cataleptic conditions and prolonged influence over the subject.

Definition

Hyperfascination represents the intentional and structured evolution of the basic fascination of the Paret method. Unlike conventional fascination, which produces manageable and reversible alterations of the state of consciousness, Hyperfascination leads the subject toward cataleptic states of higher intensity, characterized by:

  • Markedly increased metabolic and neurological depth
  • Controlled prolongation of influence even beyond the direct session
  • Declared intentionality in achieving stable structural results
  • Integration with hieratic and quantum techniques according to the Paret protocol

When to use

Hyperfascination is indicated in contexts where basic fascination proves insufficient:

  • Complex behavioral modifications requiring deep anchors
  • Subjects with a high response threshold to standard techniques
  • Work on ingrained or resistant patterns
  • Therapeutic goals requiring persistence of effect over time
  • Advanced educational contexts (practitioner training and beyond)

Components and steps

  1. Preparation of the basic cataleptic state through preliminary fascination
  2. Progressive intensification of presence and personal magnetism
  3. Installation of hieratic anchors according to Paret guidelines
  4. Saturation of the state through quantum techniques — the theoretical foundation of the quantum techniques of the Paret Method is documented in Marco Paret, The Magnetic Gaze (2011, pp. 82-84) with explicit citation of Stephen Wolinsky, Trances People Live (1991) as the source for the classification of fascinatory trances; see theoretical bridge page for the complete treatment
  5. Structural consolidation of influence
  6. Post-session: verification of the persistence and stability of effects

Distinctions

  • vs Basic Fascination: Hyperfascination deliberately pursues cataleptic depth and prolonged duration of influence, while basic fascination maintains immediate reversibility and manageability
  • vs Non-verbal Hypnosis: Hyperfascination operates primarily through the fascinative and magnetic channel, while non-verbal hypnosis emphasizes somatic language and cognitive deactivation
  • vs Mesmerismus®: Hyperfascination integrates properly Paretian quantum and hieratic techniques, distinguishing itself from historical Mesmerismus® through methodology and structured intentionality

Notes

  • Hyperfascination requires consolidated mastery of basic fascination and deep understanding of personal magnetism according to Paret
  • [to be confirmed by Marco]: specific contraindications in subjects with acute psychic fragility
  • Cataleptic effects must always be managed within an ethical framework and informed consent
